Linksys E3000 router setup is as easy as other old linksys routers. Instead of running installation program, you can do it manually. Open the setup page and change the settings manually. Thanks for your article.

Linksys E3000 not working.
I just bought a new E3000 router less than 2 weeks ago. I spent hours with my tech guy setting up the router so that I was getting excellent internet speed and the connection between my computer and my nas was maximized. In the process of setting up the router my laptop (Windows 7) and the basement laptop (Vista) were set up to access the router. Both work perfectly.
I can’t get them to connect. I spent an hour with a guy at Cisco tonight who just couldn’t seem to get past the idea that it was not the laptop that was the problem.

Thanks for your help. I am satisfied with the service that you offered. I was not able to access Internet through E3000 but when I connected computer directly to the modem, it was working. I upgraded the firmware and changed the advanced settings that you suggested. Now it is working working better than before.

How do In setup Linksys E3000 router without installatopn CD?
I am not interested in using Guest network access. I just wanna get this box working as soon as possible. I have been running this stupid cisco software for 2 hours and it is not finding my router. Sick of this installation. Now decided to installa it manually. The manual is also useless. need some help.

Cisco softwared is not working. I can access Internet on all my computers without any problem. I installaed the Cisco software on my main PC which is connected with the cable to the router. I want to change the guest password but when I open the Cisco connect software, it says router not found.

Can not connect to the wifo on my ipad. I have my laptop and one PC connected and I have the correct security key. When I try to connect to WiFi on iPad, it is not asking for the security key. I use the same password on other devices. But the main problem is that it is not asking for the password. Is there any place to add the password manually. I think the WiFi setup on iPad is not working properly because I had the same problem when I was at my friend’s home.

Trying to connect kindle to the wireless so that I can access Internet. I have the correct security key but kindle is not takng it. All my other devices are connected with the same security key and they can access the Internet. Can I connect my kindle to the guest access. I have the guest passsword too. But never used guest network before.

I am having hard time connecting my ipad to the wifi . I can see my wifi but it is asking me for the security key. I am not sure where to find the security key from. Also I can not join the guest access either.

Can not connect to the wireless on my kindle. I have E3000 and it is setup properly because I can access Internet on my other computers and gaming station. It is just the kindle which I am not able to join the wifi. I can not even get on guest access. The cisco connect software is installed and I can see the guest password as well.

The setup disc was not working. Finally got it installed manually. Also now I cannot use guest network access because I did not install the cisco connect software. I would like to use the guest network access. Is there anyway to use it ?

Linksys E3000 router setup is very easy if you do it manually. I will always prefer to setup manually. E3000 guest network access is not necessary. I think it is a trouble instead of a good feature.

E3000 default password is not working. I just bought new Kindle and trying to connect kindle to wifi. I don’t know the password of my wireless network. When I try to open the setup page, it asks me for the password which I don’t know. All my other computers are working and I don’t want to reset it to factory defaults. Is there a way to open the setup page. I also want to upgrade firmware for better wireless connection.

What is default password for guest network access? I have a password which is not working. Where can I find the guest access password. I don’t remember that I have installed the Cisco software on any of my computer. How come the guest network is available if I have not installed the software. According to the manual the guest access can be installed only with the Cisco software, Right?

What is E3000 default password? I had been using this model for more than a year without any problem. I want to change some settings on the network and that is why I am trying to access the setup page using 192.168.1.1. It asks me for the router password which I am sure that I never changed from default. I did not install the software. Now I can not access the settings page. I think I need to reset it to factory default. I also need steps for firmware upgrade.

I can access the setup page E3000 but can not save any settings. The wireless connection is dropping on my router and I believe my manual setup is not working properly because if I take my laptop to my friend’s home, it works without any problem. And at my home, I face the dropping issue on all my computers and wifi devices. I tried to change the advanced wireless settings but that did not fix the issue. Do I need firmware upgrade? Do I need to change the Linksys E3000 default password settings so that no one can change the settings except me.

Where do I find the guest access password ? I bought this model a long time back. I have all my computers working and able to access Internet. One of friend want to connect to the guest access. He is able to join the guest access but now it is asking for guest password. I am not sure what is the guest password as I installed this device way back. When I try to open the Linksys E3000 setup page, it asks me for user login details which I don’t know either.

I had many problems with E3000 firmware. The wireless connection is dropping regularly. Also sometimes I was not even able to change the settings. Means I could open the manual setup page and change the settings but the settings were not saving. I tried upgrading firmware but still having many issues. Each time I lost the connection, I have to reset it and reconfigure it manually.

This model has a lot of issues with the connection if the configuration is not correct. Make sure that you have upgraded the firmware to the latest one otherwise you will face many difficulties. What is Linksys E3000 default password? The Linksys E3000 default password is admin but if you have used cisco connect software for the setup then login password might be different. You can open the cisco software and check the settings.

My router is not worrking. I am not able to connect to the wireless network on my new laptop. I have other wireless computers connected and working. How do I connect my new laptop? I can see the network and it shows connected but I can not access the internet. When I connect with the ethernet cable, it just works fine.
