Linksys WRT120N router not working.
I have tried to access internet wireless for a few months now and no success! I tried my ipad and my laptop nothing is working. it is connecting to the network but no internet access. Please help!!! I don’t know what to do anymore i have tried alot …as much as I know not very knowledge!

This is surely a great help. I had been trying to get my WRT120n to communicate with my new modem. This was working with the DSL modem but I recently switched over to cable. My computer was able to access Internet through the cable modem. I upgraded the firmware and made some changes that you suggested and I am getting better wireless internet too. Thanks

What is the default password?
I have been trying to open the web page of my WRT120N router and it is not accepting the password. The wireless is not working either, Only the wired computer is working. I tried resetting the device many times but still not getting in. I wanted to change the security password for wireless but now I can not ever get on the wireless. How do I upgrade firmware if I am not even able to open it?

Not able to reset WRT120N. I want to change the wireless security password. Trying to open the setup page but the log in password is not accepted. Tried to reset many times but the default password admin is also not working. Is there a way to change security key without opening settings page?

Not able to setup password on the wi-fi. I can see my SSID is open and anyone can connect to it. I am trying to secure wireless network so that no one can use my network. I have WRT120N and I can not change settings. When I click on save settings, it does nothing.

Can not upgrade firmware. I have downloaded the correct firmware file but can not upgrade it. I get error upgrade failed. There are no firewalls and computer is connected properly. I tried 4 times but fails each time.

Tryting to connect my new iPad to the wireless network. I can see the network and it also asks for the security password. But nothing happens after I enter the key. I upgraded the firmware long time ago. Do I need to upgrade firmware again?

Can not connect to the wireless network on all my wireless computers. I ran the setup disc and got it working on wired computer but problem with wifi. I tried to reset and reconfigure it manually but still the same thing.

upgrade firmware if you have any bad experience with the wireless connection. I did that and it fixed all my network issues. I was actually not even able to open the setup page. Thanks for your support because of which I was able to make it working.

I have already upgraded Linksys WRT120N firmware as I read on many website. I did reset the router to factory default settings. Now I can not run Linksys WRt120N setup CD. I need Linksys Wrt120N manual. Right now my computer is connected directly to the modem. I will try your Easy setup guide.

Just upgraded Linksys WRT120N firmware and got it working on all the computers. I had a lot of issues with the wireless connection. tried reset and reconfigure many times but nothing helped.
Finally upgraded WRT120N firmware and I am now happy with the performance. It’s better than before now. And I can access Internet on all the computers without any problem. Thanks for your help.

Just bought new Ipad 2 and trying to connect it to wifi at home. I have Linksys WRt120N wireless router which has been working fine for years. But I can not connect Ipad 2 to wifi. I can see the ssid but not able to join it. I am sure that I have the correct password but it is not accepted.

I think Linksys WRT120N firmware upgrade is the best solution for wireless router. I had issues with connection dropping. Your technician helped me to fix advanced settings and made it better for me. just want to thank you again.

I am trying to connect my Kindle to my WRT120N, but the password I had written down does not work. My pw has 6 digits – Kindle requires 10 digits. I tried to access 192.168.1.1 to reset the password, but it did not take my password either. I also tried to access LINkSYS using admin and password.
How can I get a new password so I can connect the Kindle?

Trying to change the settings so that I can have NAT type open for my xbox. I am able to open the settings page but the settings are not saved. When I click on save settings, nothing happens. The page is not moving and settings will not save. I tried to upgrade and reflash Linksys wrt120n firmware many times. I did reset and reconfigure it but no luck.
