When do you get the error message “waiting for network to be ready” ?<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

You are trying to connect to the wireless network on a windows computer. Sometimes you will get a message ” waiting for network to be ready “. This means your computer is trying to connect to the wireless network but it is not able to connect to the network because of the settings saved on your computer do not match the settings of your wireless network.<\/p>\n

This may happen because of the change in the wireless settings of your computer or the router.<\/p>\n

How to fix this error ?<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

You will need to remove the network from the preferred wireless network list. On your computer, there is a place where it saves the settings of the wireless network. You just need to remove your wireless network from the preferred network list and try to connect to the wireless network again.<\/p>\n

Here are the steps to fix this error “waiting for network to be ready” :<\/span><\/h2>\n

Go to START<\/strong> ==>
\ncontrol pannel<\/strong> =>
\nnetwork connections<\/strong> ==>
\nright click on wireless network connection<\/strong> ==>
\nGo to properties<\/strong>.
\nwireless networks<\/strong> tab =>
\nclick on it ==>
\non that window you will see ” preffered networks<\/strong>” ==>
\nin the box you will see some networks .
\nHighlight the network and click REMOVE<\/strong> below.<\/p>\n

One by one remove all the networks<\/strong> that you are not using then click OK<\/strong> !<\/p>\n

Now right click on wireless network connection again and go to view available wireless networks<\/strong> .<\/p>\n

You will see the network that you wants to connect.
\nTry to connect again and make sure that you have the correct password or the key.<\/p>\n

If you have WEP security mode on the router, then the network key will be 10 or 26 digit number.<\/p>\n

Make sure that you have all the wireless settings of the router. If you are not sure about the wireless settings of your wireless network then you will need to check the wireless settings of the router. For this you will need to open the router set up page and check the wireless settings.<\/p>\n
